Josh Lane started racing karts at the age of eight. Josh has numerous track records, track championships, and countless wins in all disciplines of kart racing. He has three WKA national championships and still continues to race his 125cc shifter when his schedule permits him to do so.

In 2005 Josh started his midget career with the Freitag/Bruker Motorsports #12 UMARA Sportsmen car. He became the 2005 Rookie of the Year with UMARA and qualified top three in the last five events of the season. Josh turned heads right from the start. It was time to take the next step.

In 2006 Lane/Charno Motorsports purchased a Hawk/Brayton Buick for Josh to begin his National Midget career. USAC and UMARA events have beenscheduled for the inaugural season. Please check the schedule/results page for season updates.
